This site is being built as a user tool for YOU! Detroiters, and "Detroiters at heart". I know it's complex, but it has to be for what we are doing.

The flow is this: POST a topic of information or discussion > DISCUSS the issue (this is where most websites stop) > identify SOLUTIONs > PROPOSE a group ACTION (ballot proposal, info campaign, recall, forum, etc) that can help fix the problem > VOTE on whether the group should act > adopt approved action as an official group PROJECT > then create tasks to distribute the WORK using our collective talent, time, and might, to achieve THE CHANGE WE SEEK.

After we've gotten some of the core workings nailed, I'll build out the the frills, resource links, an internet radio show, better user profile pages, steaming media, chat, a mobile version, podcasts, etc etc.

As an early user (there will be thousands of others coming on board later), you get to shape how this thing works. Create an account, get a feel for what it does, then beat the crap out of it, and give me your feedback!
